I really like the new song 300 by John Legend.I’m just saying. This weekend has been a
pretty good one as was last weekend.Going back to last weekend…. Friday I had to take pictures at the Minden
Football game in Monroe. I rode with a friend so it was a good ride and time
over there. Then Sunday I went to the contemporary
service at Summer Grove. Tommy and Justin play in the band there. The music is
awesome. I was going to go tonight, but it was canceled. Fast forward to this
weekend… Once again I had to take a pics at the Minden game . They played
Northwood there. Since it only 5 minutes away from Malloris house she came and
was a “reporter/bag holder” on the side lines there. I did make a new friend.
Leslie from KTBS, she is the new sports reporter. It was fun to have someone
there with you. Normally I am on the sidelines with the other news crews but we
chat ever y so often because we are working. Afterthat we went and met up with some of Mal’s
friends and Bear later joined us. It was a fun night indeed.
Saturday night at church I got Jennifer to do the media
stuff. I think that I am about to give that up somewhat and let someone else do
it. After church Mallori, Meagan, Brandon, Kyle and myself went to eat at Fuddruckers.
It was good, but one complaint. HOW DOES A RESUTRANT RUN OUT OF KETCHUP?!?!?!
Afterthat we went to see Ghost Town. It
was a good funny movie. Great soundtrack too!
Mallori left her sunglasses at the church so we were going
to stop by and get them. We get on I20 and Mallori is right behind me and all
of a sudden she pulls over. Well I pull over too because I didn’t know what she
was doing. Well she had a flat so we sat on side of the interstate for about an
hour waiting on Triple A to change it. It was fun. We were just sitting on side
talking and throwing rocks.
I can now add one more thing to the list of things that I
have done in my life….clean up bricks…lots of bricks.Saturday morning Josh Brecke and I started
cleaning bricks to build a flower bed around the church sign. Due to the fact
these bricks were dug up from the ground, they were packed with dirt and mud in
the five holes. After making a trip to Lowes we get a load of bricks and put
them in the back of Brecke’s truck and make our way to the water hose. This was
something that we did not think would take a while…we were wrong. The dirt was
packed in there and required something more than water to blast it out…that’s when
the screwdrivers came in. ..not the drink…the tool. We took the screw drivers
and dug the dirt out…that took all day…well to 3:30. Then we went home and go
ready for church and headed back.We
shall pick up where we left off this Saturday morning.
Everything I have heard about the movie, 88 Minutes, is
about how bad it is and how it is 88 minutes to long. This past Saturday, Josh
Brecke and I went and watched it and we both liked it.
Last week we both went and watched Leather Heads. This was
the movie that I wasn’t sure if I would like or not. I actually liked it very
much, as opposed to my instinct.
The week before that we went and saw 21; it’s the movie
about the college students who count cards in Vegas. That one there was a good
one.
The movies out right now that I want to see are:
Baby Mama, who doesn’t
like Tina Fey or Amy Poehler?
Harold & Kumar,
parts were filmed right down the street from my house
I also what to see The Happening when it comes out.
